Terms of Service

Liability

ShippingFreight.com, Inc. offers its services as a shipping coordinator and therefore is not liable for the actual shipment. All claims for damage, undelivered goods or other problems concerning the shipment are strictly the responsibility of the respective carrier.

Information Accuracy

We use the information you give us to book shipment. The customer is responsible for providing us with accurate pickup and delivery addresses and contact information, and is liable for any additional expenses incurred as a result of providing ShippingFreight.com, Inc. with faulty information.

Insurance

All residential ground shipments are insured under the National Motor Carriers Association rules as NMFC item 100240 Sub1. This insures your goods at value of $.10 per pound. If you require additional insurance we can provide it through an independent insurance company at nominal costs. If your item is shipping from the manufacturer, or if this is a commercial shipment, it can be insured for actual value up to $25.00 per pound. Ask one of our agents about this. Commercial shipments may also be insured for "Release Value." Again, ask one of our agents.

Payment and Late Payment

Customer agrees to pay for the actual shipment based upon the actual size and or weight of the shipment along with any additional services performed at the customers request or necessitated by the nature of the shipment regardless of the estimated cost. Payment is due on receipt of invoice unless other arrangements have been made in writing. If payment is 15 days past due, the discount will not apply and the invoice will be re-billed and payable at full market cost. After 30 days late fees may apply. If the cost differs from the amount originally charged to the customer, the customers signature providers/credit card holders account will be debited upon ShippingFreight.com, Inc. being notified of the difference. Any costs arising from the use of shipping papers other than those provided by ShippingFreight.com will be made payable by and charged to the customers account. Shippingfreight.com will attempt to notify the customer of these actions.

Cancellations and Disputes

If the charges are disputed it is the customers responsibility to produce reasonable documentation as to the actual size, and or weight of the shipment and any additional services. All costs related to disputed charges will be paid by the party found at fault. When a customer cancels a shipment refunds may be provided minus a 10% handling fee. Once a shipment has been dispatched for pick up cancellation is not guaranteed.
